Friends of the Peace Park - meeting

Friends of the Peace ParkCome along and make new friends, whilst being out in the fresh air and helping to maintain the town's green areas. Tea/coffee and biscuits will be provided.The first meeting will take place on Wednesday 29th March at 2pm, in the Thrapston Town Council office (77 High Street) and a seasonal plan will be discussed.If you are interested in joining this new volunteer group, please come along to the meeting or contact the Town Clerk for further information (clerk@thrapstontowncouncil.gov.uk).

Annual Town Meeting

The annual town meeting will take place on Tuesday 18th April at the Plaza Community Centre at 6.30pm (for a 7pm start). Residents of Thrapston are invited to attend the meeting and to bring forward any matters or suggestions you feel are relevant for the well-being of the town. Any questions or issues you wish to be raised can be emailed to the clerk ahead of the meeting at clerk@thrapstontowncouncil.gov.uk. There will also be local community groups presents and a chance to talk to the Town Councillors.

Community Litter Pick

Come along and join a community litter pick in Thrapston, supported by North Northamptonshire Council, on Saturday 22nd April from 10am-12pm.Get involved and help keep Thrapston tidy! Pickers and bags will be provided but please wear sturdy shoes. Please meet at the Town Council office (High St/Oundle Rd junction) at 10am on Saturday 22nd April. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult at all times

Abba Tribute Night

Dig out your flares and platform boots... ABBA are coming to Thrapston! 
'ABBA Sensation' will be at the Plaza on Saturday 29th April, performing a medley of the band's greatest hits and ensuring the audience are up on their feet all night.There will also be food to purchase outside the Plaza, provided by Burger Buzz.Tickets are £15 per person and can be purchased from the Town Council office or by calling 01832 734673.
