Plaza Community Centre roof repairs completed thanks to community grant
The roof restoration works at the Plaza Community Centre in Thrapston have been completed, following a £55,425 grant from the FCC Communities Foundation and monies set aside by the Town Council.

Notification of essential lighting renewal works A14 J11 - J13
Information from National Highways:
National Highways will be carrying out essential lighting renewal works on the A14 from Junction 11 through to Junction 13. During the scheme of work, they will, where necessary:

Thrapston Town Council awarded funding for Plaza roof repairs
Users of the Plaza Community Centre in Thrapston are set to benefit from roof repairs, thanks to a grant of £50,000 from FCC Communities Foundation.
The money for the repairs will help ensure the longevity of this used and loved asset in the town, located in Cosy Nook on the corner of the High Street.

North Northamptonshire Council are the owners of the St John's Ambulance Hall and have determined that the property is surplus to their requirements. As such they are now looking to dispose of this asset.

The King's Coronation Celebration
The King's Coronation was a momentous occasion for the whole country when it took place over the weekend of Saturday 6th May. Thrapston Town Council elects a new Mayor
Thrapston Town Council recently elected Cllr Craig Wilcox as Mayor of Thrapston for 2023-24.
Cllr Wilcox will be supported in his role by Cllr Andy McGovern who will serve as Vice-Chairman and Deputy Mayor.
