Market Road - 4-6th July 2022
Anglian Water are required to carry out repairs to a comms pipe on the above road.
To undertake this work safely, they require that the road is closed from the 4th to 6th July 2022.

Queen's Platinum Jubilee Best Decorated Shop Window competition
Thrapston Town Council held a competition for local businesses in the town to decorate their shop windows with their Jubilee finest to celebrate the Queen's 70 year reign.

Queen's Platinum Jubilee Street Decorations
Thrapston Town Council encouraged residents over the Platinum Jubilee weekend to host their own street parties with friends and neighbours across the town.

Jubilee Beacon Lighting
On Thursday 2nd June, the beacon in the Peace Park was lit to commemorate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. The beacon was lit by Joyce Harrison and her great-grandson, Archie Bromley, who were both nominated by Joyce's granddaughter Cate.

It is with great sadness that we have learned of the death of His Royal Highness, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
Flags have been lowered and will be flown at half-mast.
