Queen's Platinum Jubilee Street Decorations

Thrapston Town Council encouraged residents over the Platinum Jubilee weekend to host their own street parties with friends and neighbours across the town.

It was fantastic to see so many of Thrapston's streets turn blue, white and red and the Council ran a competition for the Best Decorated Street. Residents were invited to enter their street and across the weekend, Mayor, Cllr Craig Wheeler and Deputy Mayor, Cllr Craig Wilcox, took to the streets to visit and spend some time with the residents during their celebrations.

Cllr Wheeler judged the competition and the award for Best Decorated Street was given to Warwick Gardens, with Chainbridge Court and The Coppice coming in as runners up.
