Thrapston Town Council Launches New Website

Residents will now be able to find out more of the information they need from a new and improved website for the Town Council. The site has been designed around giving residents easy access to all the information about the town and the council whenever they need it.
Following the formation of an IT working group it was decided that the current website was not fit for purpose, they were tasked with designing and implementing the new site and preloading it with content from accross all aspects of council life.
Key features include;
- Residents will now find an A-Z area listing all the services local authority councils provide,
- An easy to use button style interface which makes our site more mobile and tablet friendly,
- A dedicated news area where our press releases and latest news will be available,
- More transparency from the council from minutes at meetings to deicsions it has taken and greater financial transparency.
Leader of Thrapston Town Council, Councillor Sam Cribb, said: “We understand that in the wake of Northamptonshire County Councils recent Best Value inspection the importance of being open and honest with our residents. We hope that the improved access to our information and policies will aid residents in seeing that Thrapston Town Council is working for and on behalf of its residents.”
