Queen's Platinum Jubilee Best Decorated Shop Window competition
Thrapston Town Council held a competition for local businesses in the town to decorate their shop windows with their Jubilee finest to celebrate the Queen's 70 year reign.

Thrapston Town Council encouraged residents over the Platinum Jubilee weekend to host their own street parties with friends and neighbours across the town.

Jubilee Beacon Lighting
On Thursday 2nd June, the beacon in the Peace Park was lit to commemorate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. The beacon was lit by Joyce Harrison and her great-grandson, Archie Bromley, who were both nominated by Joyce's granddaughter Cate.
